2009 TSX Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships
Hello Lakeshore Curling Club Members, Curlers and Visitors:
We, as the volunteer Co-chairs, are excited to welcome you to the 2009 TSX Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship being hosted here at the Lakeshore Curling Club, March 23-28, 2009.
The 2009 TSX CWCC is a Canadian Curling Association, CCA, national championship which is the equivalent to the Briar and the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. This national wheelchair curling championship continues to grow each year, growing from four teams in 2007, to eight teams in 2008 and now to a projected participation of 10 or more provincial teams in 2009.
The 2009 championship at the Lakeshore Curling Club in Sackville Nova Scotia starts with opening ceremonies and competition on Monday March 23rd, then with completion continuing Tuesday March 24th through Friday March 27th, then concluding with the finals and closing ceremonies on Saturday March 28, 2009.
