The following leagues are available at the Lakeshore Curling Club:
Monday Morning Open League - 9:30 am
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Only Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Monday Night Women's League - 6:15 pm
This League is only available to Female Adult Curling Members. Team and Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
This Season will only have the 6:15 draw.
Monday Night Men's League - 6:15 pm & 8:30 pm
This League is only available to Male Adult Curling Members. Team, Partial Team, or Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Tuesday Morning Open League - 9:30 am
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Only Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Tuesday Night Stick League - 6:15pm
This League is a unique league that features two person teams, using delivery sticks. The league uses Stick Curling Rules and each game is normally 1 hour long. Open to all members, the only requirement is you must use the delivery stick to deliver the rock.
Tuesday Night Open League - 7:30pm
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Team Entry. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Wednesday Morning Open League - 9:30 am
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Only Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Wednesday Morning Stick League 9:30am & 10:30 am
Pending registration this league is made of two person teams, using delivery sticks. The league uses Stick Curling Rules and each game is normally 1 hour long. Open to all members, the only requirement is you must use the delivery stick to deliver the rock.

Mixed Doubles Wednesday 8:30 pm
Indrotroducing a new Mixed Doubles League! Teams of two players (one male one female) playing a modified 8 end game according to Mixed Doubles format. As this is a new league, time and format is dependant on registration and may change.
Thursday Morning Open League - 9:30 am
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Only Individual Entries are Accepted. No Previous Curling Experience is Required.
Thursday Night Open League - 6:15 pm & 8:30 pm
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Team, Partial Team, and Individual Entries are Accepted. Social Mixed does not require previous curling experience.
Cobequid Social League - Fri 6:15 pm & 8:30 pm
This League is Open to Male and Female Adult Curling Members. Team, Partial Team, and Individual Entries are accepted. League membership is stressed to encourage sportsmanship and create a fun social night for all members.
U7 Learn to Curl (formerly Ice Cubes) Saturday 9:00 am
U7 Learn to Curl (Ice Cubes) -under the age of 7 as of June 30 of current registration year.
Saturdays 9:00 am – 9:45 am (October – March)
Cost: $110.00 (taxes included)
Helmets for the U7 program are Mandatory.
This is for first time and returning curlers under 7 years of age. These sessions concentrate on the basic rules with an age-appropriate blend of skill development and games using the lite weight junior rocks.
COVID-19 Adjustment: 1 Parent/Guardian will be needed on the ice during each session. Non-medical masks are mandatory. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) can be used and will be disinfected prior and after
each use by the instructors.
U11 Learn to Curl (formerly Little Rocks) Saturday 10:15 am
U11 Learn to Curl (Little Rocks) - under the age of 11 as of June 30 of current registration year.
Saturdays 10:15 am – 11:30 am (October – March)
Cost: $125.00 (taxes included)
Helmets for the U11 program are Mandatory.
Using lite weight rocks for curlers under 11 years of age. This group is for new and returning curlers with less than 2 years of experience and is based on progressive instruction with an age-appropriate blend of games and drills.
COVID-19 Adjustment: Non-medical masks are mandatory. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) can be used and will be disinfected prior and after each use by the instructors.
U11 Junior Recreational League (formerly part of Little Rocks) Saturday 10:45 pm
U11 Junior Recreational League - under 11 years of age as of June 30 of current registration year.
Saturdays: 10:45 am - 12:00 pm (October - March)
Cost: $ 125.00 (taxes included)
This session is designed to for players with more than 2 year of curling experience between 7 and 10 years of age. Children participating in this program will require a helmet.
COVID-19 Adjustment: Non-medical masks are mandatory. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) will not be available. We are finding partners to offer curling starter kits (gripper, slider, broom) at an affordable price.
U18 Learn to Curl (formerly Big Rocks) Saturday 12:45 pm
U18 Learn to Curl (Big Rocks) - under 18 years of as of June 30 of current registration year.
Saturdays 12:45 am – 2:00 pm (October – March)
Cost: $140.00 (taxes included)
Using the big rocks for curlers under the age of 18. This group is for new and returning curlers with less than 2 years of experience and is based on progressive instruction with an age-appropriate blend of games and drills.
COVID-19 Adjustment: Non-medical masks are mandatory. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) can be used and will be disinfected prior and after each use by the instructors.
U18 Junior Recreational League (formerly Juniors) Saturday 13:15 pm
U18 Junior Recreational League - under 18 years of age as of June 30 of current registration year.
Saturdays: 1:00 am - 2:30 pm (October - March)
Cost: $ 140.00 (taxes included)
This session is designed to for players with more than 1 year of curling experience between 11 and 17 years of age.
COVID-19 Adjustment: Non-medical masks are mandatory. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) will not be available. We are finding partners to offer curling starter kits (gripper, slider, broom) at an affordable price.
U18 Junior Regional Competitive League Sunday 10:00 am
The U18 Regional Competitive League is open to all teams from any club. Players must be members of a junior program at their home club.
Players enroll for the Fall season (October to December) but it is also possible to enroll for the Winter season (January to March) at a pro-rated cost, if the program is not at capacity,
Capacity: 6 teams
Number of Games: 10 games Fall season and 10 games Winter season
Game Time: 10:00-11:30 (6 ends game)
Cost: 95$ per player
COVID-19 Adjustment: Games will be played using Curling Canada and NS Curl guidelines. Community equipment (sliders, grippers, broom) will not be available.
U13 Junior Regional Competitive League Sunday 12:30 pm
The U13 Regional Competitive League is open to all teams from any club. Players must be members of a junior program at their home club. Players must have a coach and/or parent chaperone present at every game. This is a good chance for kids to play the game and develop skills and learn to work with a team.
Players enroll for the Fall season (October to December) but it is also possible to enroll for the Winter season (January to March) at a pro-rated cost, if the program is not at capacity,
Capacity: 6 teams
Number of Games: 10 games Fall season and 10 games Winter season
Game Time: 12:30-14:00 (4 ends game using full sized rocks)
Cost: 80$ per player

Learn To Curl - 8:30 pm
This program is designed to teach you progressive curling development from your first steps on the ice to your first game This league is designed for the new curler with no previous experience. It will be heavily weighted with instruction at the begining of the year with a gradual decrease in instruction.
